Ludane's magic system exemple

This an exemple of how work the elemental magic in ludane. Thanks to my lil' sister for creating the runes for this

So here how it works: Each element is represented by a magic symbol (earth, air, water, fire, life, light, darkness) and a syllab. To this is added a structure system (begining, addition, substraction,end). Using this system, wizards can cast complex magics like meteors or ice storms, etc... or boosted magics spells. Lets check the examples:

Class 1 air spell: pronounced AYARAYA, this is a simple wind blast, just strong enough to blow you a few feet away.

Class 2+ bolt spell: Pronounced AYARAMUBEHNUAWAYA. A mix of air and fire, with the water substracted to increase the strengh of the spell. At this point, the spell are starting to take time to cast but experimented wizards, thanks to their good experience and concentration, can skip all the structure terms while casting the spell.

Classe 5+ Air spell : Pronounced AYARANUWONUMINU-AWANUBEHNUNINUTEHYA, this is actually the same spell as the first, an air blast. But with all other element substracted, its actually 6 time stronger!! this one would send you in the next country. Obviously its very long to cast but at this level mages don't even need to say their spell anymore (well if they trained themselves this way.)

When a spell is casted, a magic circle representing the spell's structure appear on the ground under the caster, and depending on the strenght of the spell, runes can appear on the body or in the air around the wizard.

There may be some details to work on, but That's pretty much how the spell casting system work in Ludane. I needed to have this figured out fast as we'll see some magic in the next page. Oh, also this system is for elemental magic only. The stuff for card magic, summoning magic and astral magic is something else.
